Sway. I've only played with it briefly. I've looked at several quick tutorial youtubes. I don't think 'file size' is an issue for a couple of reasons.
First, the app is entirely web based. You provide a link to the cloud source of the presentation. You don't need Office to run sway, just a browser on any size device, from 7' smart phone to a 4K monitor. Sway will automatically adjust the presentation elements to work with the graphics limits of the device.
Second, unlike powerpoint, the presentation is not about embedding files, images other content all into a single file. The demo's I saw were heavy on using internet based content (copying from websites) using 'IFrame' links to the original source rather than making copies of the content, but you can also use content stored on the local device.
I did not see many text or formatting tools, but it does appear to provide enough for basic emphasis formatting.
I did not see ANY image formatting tools, because it appears to expect the images (videos) to already be in essentially finished form using other tools.

Great tool for schooling
I started using MS office apps on my iPad at the start of the spring semester; especially PowerPoint. When it comes to school, my iPad has become just as productive, even more convenient to use than my MacBook. It is such a joy to be able to use the professors presentation and be able to highlight and jot simple notes within the PowerPoint slides to go back and focus on the important things to study. I no longer need to take notes on paper because all the notes are on the slides. It saves me the hassle of carrying around a heavy laptop and keeping countless notes and packet papers organized and crumble free.
I wish I began doing all this cloud based work when I started college. It would’ve made things a lot easier when it came to studies. But from now on, I will be. It is a plus to finally use my iPad more often in a more productive way.
Apple Pencil inking glitch/fixed?
I’ve been having the same problem as Bad Cplx when trying to ink notes on this app using my Apple Pencil on the iPad. I am in a doctorate program and rely on downloading PowerPoint slides to write notes on (as opposed to printing 1,000 pages of PowerPoint slides), so you can imagine the frustration I, and others, have had trying to ink on slides while your pencil keeps trying to grab images, duplicate text boxes multiple times, duplicate inked text, and ultimately crash.
That being said, I’ve downloaded the recent update today and that issue seems to be taken care of, so thank you Microsoft for supporting us iPad users. I haven’t tested the app extensively since this recent update, but I have my fingers crossed that Microsoft support did their job. 4 stars for swiftly correcting the issue.
PP has a mind of its own
Obviously, it’s a good tool. But sometimes it’s very aggravating to use it. It’s hard to get into its mind, what it will and won’t allow you to do. It’s not always very intuitive. It’s mostly trial and error. When I wanted to upgrade it had me tap the fingerprint thing. It didn’t work and so I couldn’t upgrade. Seems counter to what Microsoft would want. They should want you to be able upgrade as it would bring more money to them. But you either do it according to their protocol (Tapping the finger print icon) or not at all. There’s no options and there’s nobody to call of course. There’s no such thing as a call center where you can call real people who understand the product. Because all modern day online enterprises don’t want anything to do with people. They want to make money without people. And yet everything else in the world actually involves people. I’m not sure I get it. Oh well.
